Community Transport

We support Community Transport Sussex - previously known as Bluebird transport.

They provide over 8000 journeys every month, from their depots at Chailey, Horsham, Crawley and East Grinstead.  They also provide transport for young people to attend their Special Schools – Chailey Heritage and Woodlands Meed being amongst them.

They are planning a major evening of Charity fund raising fun and entertainment with a two course dinner on Friday 26th October at the Gatwick Hilton Hotel – which you can walk into off the Gatwick train station.  With live entertainment, dinner and a Halloween photo booth, they also have a live auction with a key auction item of a week in a 5* French Chateau for up to x 12 people, a weekend in a Sussex flint holiday cottage, and a Michael Kors watch. Dancing till the witching hour with their favourite DJ to complete the evening!  See details on the poster here.

This is their biggest fund raising event for 2018 -   all funds raised go towards keeping our Blue Bird community transport service sustainable across central Sussex supporting the more vulnerable members of our community who cannot access mainstream transport – usually due to mobility, rural location and health issues.

Raffle prizes include a Prosecco tea at Proud House (Stanmer House) in Brighton, a Jazz lunch at the Hilton Hotel, and many other afternoon teas and vouchers for Hair and Beauty etc.

Tickets can be booked direct on buytickets.at/communitytransportsussex
